Opal

Opal is associated with the planet Venus and is considered a substitute for diamonds. It comes in white, black, or gray body colors but can show almost all colours in its firing. Mainly worn in white for astrological benefits. Opal stone ranges from transparent to opaque and is usually cut into cabochons to display its rainbow effect (play of color).
Opal is separated into two main categories: normal opal and fire opal.
