Turquoise | Firoja
The Turquoise, also known as Firoza, is associated with the planet Jupiter. It comes in greenish-blue and light-to-dark blue colors. It is normal for some light-to-dark spots to appear in this (especially in Iranian mines). It is said that, like blue sapphire, the turquoise stone gives benefits very quickly. This semi-precious birthstone is for people born in December.
This is a birthstone of Sagittarius (Dhanu Rashi). Other than this, it can be worn by Aquarians and Pisceans as well. It can be given as a gift on the 11th wedding anniversary.

Chemical Composition/ Physical Properties
The hardness of turquoise is 5–6 on the Mohs scale, with its chemical composition of hydrated copper aluminum phosphate (CuAl6(PO4)4(OH)8•5H2O). It has a refractive index of 1.61 to 1.65 and a specific gravity of 2.60 to 2.83

Weight - Minimum of 1/10th of bodyweight in Ratti (example: 6.5 Ratti for 65 kg bodyweight)
Metal Preferred - gold or silver
Finger: middle finger of the right hand (ladies, left hand)
Day and time: Saturday (5:30 a.m.–7:00 a.m.), Shukla Paksha
Chanting Mantra and process -
Take a metal bowl, put the stone in it, and add Ganga Jal, a few tulsi leaves, cow milk (unboiled), honey, and ghee at the end. Now read the mantra “Om Sham Shanishcharaye Namah” (1 mala). Then leave the stone in the bowl to rest for 5–10 minutes, then take the ring, wash it with water, and wear it.
